Equipment Requirements:
- All listed equipment (except the parachute) is required for swimmers on the swim team. The parachute is only needed for swimmers on the Gold and Elite teams.
- DO NOT purchase diving fins, goggles, or snorkels for your swimmer. We will not allow the use of these items as they are not intended for competitive swimming training.
Complete Equipment List:
- Swimming Cap - You will receive an A+ Swimming swim cap from your coach at your first practice. From then you on you will receive another free one each time you pay the annual fee for our team or can purchase one at anytime for $15.
- Swimming Goggles - Please ensure your child brings swimming goggles to practice. For safety and comfort, diving goggles or any goggles that cover the nose are not allowed. Proper swimming goggles help your child focus on their technique and perform their best in the water.

- Swimsuit - All swimsuits can be purchased from Xtreme Swim so that they will have the A+ Swimming logo. This is important to have for swim meets. For boys you will purchase swim jammers and for girls a one-piece swimsuit.
- Parka - All swimmers need to have an Arena Parka for swimming meets to wear in between their events to stay warm. We will not allow the use of bath robes.
- Mesh Swim Bag - A mesh swim bag is intended for swimmers to store all their swimming equipment in. The mesh holes are designed to allow for the equipment to dry out properly. Do not leave your equipment in a ziplock bag or any other type of closed bag oryou will notice it to start smelling and get moldy.

- Kickboard - We highly recommend swimmers get Arena Pull Kick boards. These boards are a 2-in-1 combining the design and functionality of a pull buoy and kickboard. They take up a fraction of the space required for a traditional kickboard/pull buoy and remove an item from your shopping list.

- Fins - We strongly recommend all swimmers purchase the Arena Powerfin Pro II short fins. However, if your swimmer is 10 years or younger, we will allow the use of long fins. For swimmers older than 10 years, we will start to enforce the change to using the Arena Powerfin Pro II as these are geared towards optimal training during our swimming sets.
Recommended Short fins
Typical Long Fins

DO NOT: purchase diving fins that you find on Amazon. These are not made for competitive swimming training so they will either keep falling off or cause blisters.
- Hand Paddles - There are many types of hand paddles available but we recommend that all our swimmers get the Arena Finger Paddles.

- Snorkel - We recommend purchasing the Arena Swim Snorkel Pro III.
Do Not: purchase any sort of diving snorkel as they are not made for compettitive swim trainin and we will tell your swimmer to swim without it during the practice.

-
Tennis Ball - A regular tennis ball should be kept in your bag at all times. If your swimmer complains about the tennis ball another option is to get a Trigger Point Massage Ball. As long as it is similar in size to a tennis ball and firm then it will work.

For Gold and Elite Team -
Parachute - We recommend going with the Finis parachute.

-
Forearm Fulcrum - Please purchase the one made by Finis
If you are unsure about any items feel free to reach out to Coach Aras.
